Go on to that ebay link and post a comment in the "ask seller a question" box.  I did, and I feel better.

The buying of an animal for meat I don't mind.  Many go buy a cow and shoot it and butcher it and eat it.  If it's a bull do you hang the bull horns in your house if you have a southwestern style house?

What bothers me is this guy will have the head mounted and brag to all his friends on the huge elk he shot.  It also bothers me that they are using language to the effect that this is a hunt, which is clearly isn't.

I don't think anybody will pay $26,000 for a side of beef, if they will, I am in the wrong business!

There are some people with more money than they can spend. To them its like going and buying a 6pack at the store. Pocket change. If I had that kind of money, I'll be honest with you I wouldn't be on typing right now, I would be in some exotic place hunting and probable spend a ton on of money.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

 >:(   on this guy!!! :pee:
i cant believe this.  i am only 26 years old and i know that this is the worst example of a hunter i have ever seen.
i would mind going on a guided hunt once in my life just to say i have done it.  but no amount of money can replace the woods, friends, beer and good times, even if you dont harvest an animal. its not always about KILLING animals.  thats what people done understand... its about a lot more than that!.

Didn't the guy try and claim that he shot it in the wild at first?
